We've been to the beach, Edisto, for some rest and relaxation. Some of which was enforced on Neil because his computer quit. He handled it very, very well and something that on other ocassions would've led to much huffing and grumping, made the barest ripple in the days. We spent lots of eating time at Whaleys- fabulous crab sandwiches and the like. The kids got to play pool with Beck, and watch the kid's World Series in a bar ... good training for future life.
This was our third annual trip to the beach with Leslie, Robert and Beck. We saw them less this time, we had adjoining houses, but still loved being with them.
We didn't spend all our time at Whaleys however. We got in some good beach time. The kids were dubious about water they couldn't see through but slowly warmed up. They never seemed to be entirely comfortable swimming in the ocean, but still love to body surf.
