Spring is here!! (I hope)

I woke up this morning to the dogs having pushed open the backdoor and the sound of birdsong. Yesterday was a similarly beautiful day but I spent it in a fog of post stomach virus napping. I woke up periodically, once for just enough time to spot red wing black birds, three Cedar Waxwings a Robin, and a house finch in the garden. Then I found out it was the beginning of the Cornell Backyard Bird Count, and promptly went back to sleep. I just ate some cereal and am hoping that everything stays down.
