The good news - snow and extra time to visit with Daddy who had to go to New Orleans almost as soon as we returned to the States.
The bad news- the heat went out on Saturday night and needs to be completely replaced ($5,000+).
It's now Wednesday and there's still snow on the ground and schools are cancelled again. The living room is 49 degrees, I can see my breath in the kitchen. Luckily we have two space heaters and the kids snugged with us in bed, we also have numerous fantastic friends who have invited to stay at their houses or those of their relatives. We are both reluctant, perhaps foolishly, to do this because it is so lovely to be in our own space with our own family energy (after being gone over Christmas). Plus we got a Wii from Santa Claus, which is easing the pain for all of us.
