Advanced reading

Last night James came into the kitchen clutching a thick text (about 1 inch) and said "I want this for bedtime reading. We are learning about government in school." ("Old Government New People- chapter one Revol?ution: Fact or Fancy). This follows on from an enigmatic conversation earlier in the week. "What's that thing that teachers have?" "I don't know, can you be more specific?" "You know there's something teachers have?' The next day we found out it was "authority"!
